La vida española
Learning Spanish
Language is probably the most important aspect that you need to actively learn and practice when you come to Spain. Learning Spanish is important not only for secondary school education since most subjects are taught in it, but also for everyday life. A banal conversation with a teacher after school or a passerby when searching for the right place requires knowledge of several key phrases and verbs important in the language. It is not difficult to learn easy conversational techniques, but it is very reasonable and useful. Knowledge of the language in general will help you gain the respect of native speakers and help you feel more at ease in a foreign atmosphere.

The beginning of the learning process
Before you start learning a language, you should understand that the language itself is not so difficult. In addition, with the knowledge of other foreign languages like English and French, learning Spanish becomes even easier. To learn and develop the most basic knowledge in Spanish, independent diligent practice of the language is required. If you are going to move to Spain, this fragment will be easy to catch up. Overcoming the fear of making a mistake and craving a conversation in Spanish are the very first goals that you have to push yourself for more success.

I started learning Spanish with YouTube lessons. I am sure that watching a video about a language for beginners is the most effective way to start learning a language. Videos give you the basic basics of the language, regular words, and primary knowledge of pronunciation. Personally, I started learning the language from the lessons of Dmitry Petrov, a polyglot and a full-fledged native speaker of 8 languages. Even though this is in Russian, I am sure you can find other beginner videos in your language. He personally has a wonderful program about learning a language in 16 hours. The sixteen-hour playlist introduces listeners to keywords, reading rules, a list of mandatory verbs, conjugation, and sentence composition in Spanish.

In addition to basic constructions and spelling in Spanish, it is very important to learn vocabulary. A wide range of words will help you choose words for any situation and express any thoughts. Knowing the words will also greatly advance the understanding of Spanish by ear. To get a large variety of words, I recommend you another useful playlist on YouTube, which is called "Spanish to automatism" from Alexander Bebris, Ph.D. in Language Teaching. In his playlist, Alexander shows the correct pronunciation of words, their stress, and their use in a sentence. Moreover, he also periodically conducts small exams in his lessons to help you consolidate your knowledge in an online format. I have seen some videos English to Spanish vocabulary videos and tested one out. I will leave a link to eat below.

Practicing speaking skills in Spanish can be easily done with your classmates, teachers, or monitors who look after you at school. Remember that Spaniards are very friendly and will not judge you for the first mistakes in the language, but on the contrary, they will sincerely try to understand what exactly you want to say.
